Up to $3 million in funding for locally-focused environmental education grants is now available. EPA expects to award up to four grants in each region, at $50,000-$100,000 each, for a total of 30-35 grants nationwide. EPA is seeking grant proposals from eligible applicants to support projects that reflect the intersection of environmental issues and agricultural best practices, natural resource conservation, food waste management, and natural disaster preparedness. Groundwork USA, in partnership with NPS and EPA, is now accepting Letters of interest from communities wishing to begin the process of applying for Groundwork USA program funding and technical assistance and to join the Groundwork Network. The selected community will be eligible for up to $200,000 in funding and technical assistance from the National Park Service, US Environmental Protection Agency, and Groundwork USA to plan, establish, and build the capacity of a Groundwork Trust organization in their community.
