Free Brownfield Workshop in Arnaudville May 15-16, 2018

LBA wanted to let you all know about a free brownfields workshop being co-hosted by the Acadiana Planning Commission, Louisiana Brownfields Association, Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality and Technical Assistance to Brownfields Program (TAB) at Kansas State University. The workshop will run from 9:30am until about 4:00pm on the 15th with lunch provided; and 9:30am until noon on the 16th. EPA Awards RPC $600,000 for Brownfields Assessments

New Orleans RPC, along with coalition partners the Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality (LDEQ) and the Port of New Orleans, was awarded a FY18 Brownfield Assessment Coalition grant from the US Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA). The funding will be used to conduct environmental assessments and develop cleanup plans for Brownfield sites along the Inner Harbor Navigational Canal in New Orleans in coordination with the Port’s EPA-funded Port Inner-Harbor Economic Revitalization Plan (PIER Plan). LBA is encouraged by the RPC's continued success. Congratuations!
